Remove The Old Light Kit

If you’re experiencing issues with your light kit, there are a few steps that you can take to troubleshoot the problem.

  • First, make sure that the power is actually turned on for the light kit
  • Then, unplug it and make sure that the light kit is plugged in securely
  • If neither of these things works, try switching out the bulbs with another set of bulbs to see if they work properly
  • If this doesn’t work either, then it might be time for a new light kit

Identify The Problems With The Old Installation

  • The first problem is that the light bulb is not installed correctly
  • The second problem is that the wire connections to the ceiling fan are not tight enough
  • The third problem is that the screws holding the light fixture to the ceiling are loose. But this can be fixed by using new screws and tightening them up with a screwdriver
  • The fourth problem may be that there was not enough power going to the fan when it was originally installed. So more power must be added to the breaker panel to get it working again

Buy A New Conversion Kit

If the lights in your Harbor Breeze ceiling fan work but the light kit doesn’t, then you’ll need to replace the conversion kit.

First, take down the old light kit and unscrew it.

Then screw in a new conversion kit with a light bulb included. It should be pretty self-explanatory from there.

Attach The New Conversion Kit And Reinstall The Fixture

  • Turn off the power to the fan and remove the light fixture cover.
  • Remove the two screws securing the old light kit to your ceiling fan by turning them counterclockwise with a Phillips screwdriver
  • Take out your new conversion kit and place it into the new mounting bracket. Making sure that all of its wires are connected to those of your existing light kit before installing it into place (if you don’t already have a conversion kit, then you’ll need to buy one)
  • Install the new mounting bracket onto your ceiling fan by inserting its screws in an alternating pattern and tightening them down with a Phillips screwdriver until they’re snug but not too tight. Being careful not to damage any surrounding areas like insulation or drywall

Test The New Fixture

First, make sure the fan is turned off, and unplugged and the power to the house has been cut. Remove the old fixture by unscrewing it from the mounting plate.

Replace it with a new institution with an LED bulb, which is brighter and more energy-efficient than a standard light bulb. Reattach it to the mounting plate before plugging it in and turning on the fan.

Many people are having issues with their Harbor Breeze ceiling fan lights not working. This issue may be caused by the following: a faulty switch, a loose wire connection, a bad light fixture, or a blown fuse.

The first step is to make sure the power is on at the wall switch and that there are no loose wires in the box. If your lights still don’t work, you may need to change out your light fixture with another one.
